What Is Abuse?
    By Stacey Lunsford

What is abuse?

The Encarta Dictionary defines abuse as:

1. maltreatment: the physical, psychological, or sexual maltreatment of a person

When I think about abuse from a physical perspective, I think about the cruel and unkind way that a person can abuse another person by   through touching them in a harmful and destructive way.

This includes but is not limited to the following things:
When I think about abuse from a psychological, perspective, I think about the cruel and unkind way that a person can abuse another person verbally and emotionally.
When I think about abuse from a sexual perspective, I think about the cruel and unkind way that a person can abuse another person by  forcing  them to have unauthorized sex.
