A native of West Philadelphia and graduate of Overbrook High School, I am professional, single parent and my life is my garden. God has blessed me with 3 beautiful flowers whose names are, Brandon, Cedric and Tamar that God is helping me to love, nurture and train in His Word, in His love and His, Spirit and Truth.
Creatively, created by the Creator, Brandon is in his 4th year of college and has been on the deans list all 4 years and was inducted to the Politic Science Honors Society, 11/07.
Creatively, created by the Creator, Cedric is an eight grade honor student who is at the top of class and loves football.
Creatively, created by the Creator, Tamar is also an honor student and top of her class. and is in the mentally gifted program.
God creatively created me to create 3 beautiful flowers that He has so graciously and humbly used to help me grow into spiritual maturity. Through the trials and tribulations of being a single parent, God has formed the very nature of Christ within me and as they (trials & tribulations) continue to come in and out of my life, God continues to use life test's to build character within my children and I.
Through each of my children's unique story's, God has taught me how to trust Him, rely and depend on Him and I praise God for the lessons that I have learned that has empowered and enabled me to be a blessing to those that are hurting, those that are broken, those that are looking for love in all the wrong places, which brings me to the ministry that God has blessed me with.
The cries of hurting people both young and old, especially women and children that have been abused burns in me the most for doing the work of the ministry. I truly want to see people healed, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, psychologically, physically, financially and economically, you know complete balance, complete wholeness.
WHAT MOTIVATES ME TO ACHIEVE MY BEST?
First and foremost is my relationship with God, my children and those that have had a positive effect on my life.
Believing in myself, my goals, my vision, and working hard, even when it hurts. Seeing opportunities in every situation, both good and bad.
Being respectful and professional at all times.
Being teachable and not unreachable.
I am very thankful for the hardships that I have survived and for the lessons that I have learned because they have made me a much better and stronger person.
The fact that I am alive is enough to give God my best because God has always given me His best.
As I give my best, I am giving back what God gave unto me and His love ultimately is my motivation! i

As an administrative assistant to the Field Vice President of American Express Financial Advisors, that position has afforded me the experience necessary to manage the affairs of a senior executive as well as interact on his behalf with senior leadership, operations manager (acted for 6 months - successfully supervised 7 administrative staff members), district management, financial advisors, human resources, recruitment coordination, board members and officials on his behalf within the Tri-State Area.
Having served in a variety of administrative and clerical capacities during my employment history, I have strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership and managerial experience that paved the road for me to found and administrate a non-profit organization called Arise & Shine For Jesus Ministry.
I have a vested interest in the educational aspect of adult learning and training leaders for the development and advancement of the urban church, as well as empowering women to take their rightful place in the Body of Christ, rising above their circumstances and crossing the bridge to the other side.
